Specs
Apron style steel pan conveyor belt assemblies are engineered and sized on an individual basis, to fit your needs. Please call us and we can work on your project together.
Apron style conveyors use steel pans to carry loads but the pans are
connected to rollers on the ends. This eliminates the piano hinge and pin
connection from pan to pan. These conveyors
are designed
and manufactured to withstand the toughest applications handling heavy
volumes of scrap metals or municipal solid waste.
Roller chain with large diameter rollers is used for longer chain
life in extreme duty applications. Common applications include feeding non
ferrous balers
or handling construction and demolition debris or municipal solid waste.
Features
Heavy- duty pans with thicknesses from 1/4" to 1/2"
Roller diameter up to 5 inches
Support structure under pans to help absorb impacts and carry heavy loads
Variable or fixed speed drives with speeds up to 20 fpm
Can handle transitions to 45 degrees and nose-over sections
Cleats to help carry material uphill

Field adjustable leg heights open frame design with removable guards for easy of maintenance
OSHA compliant Emergency-stops and safety guards, optional employee transmitter safety shutdown system
Assembled and pre-tested prior to shipment
Accessories include air clutches, soft starts, variable frequency drives
Benefits
Extremely impact and chemical resistant for reliable movement of very heavy, sharp, or abrasive loads
Reduced maintenance and downtime costs and long system lifespan with large diameter rollers to minimize drag and wear
